The Punjab government has set up a special helpline for farmers across the province to lodge complaints regarding availability, quality and prices of fertilizers, where farmers can directly contact the Punjab Agriculture Department in case of any complaint or problem. According to the message issued by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, farmers can register their complaints regarding the availability, quality and prices of fertilizers on the toll-free helpline 0800-17000. The helpline will be operational from 8 am to 8 pm daily, through which farmers will have the facility to raise issues related to supply and sale of fertilizers to the authorities. A message issued by the Punjab Agriculture Department said that phosphorus and nitrogen fertilizers are available in the market in abundance, while arrangements have been made to supply all types of fertilizers across the province at fixed government prices.
