He said that due to the alleged importation of crores of meters of fabrics and lakhs of tons of cotton yarn from China at a lower price than the actual prices, the local textile sector is suffering from an extraordinary economic crisis. The National Tariff Commission has decided to investigate the scandal by confirming the complaints of five major textile companies as valid and has issued orders to all affected textile mills to register their complaints with the NTC.
